Behind the Music of FurryNG..

Posted by Omnivore - April 23rd, 2011

Heres a little list of all the programs I've used and in what songs i've used them in. I guess you can call it my own personal interview.

The Futura Sample Pack- This is what I use to make fab drum lines and such. I've used it in about everysingle song except 'Take Him Down' which uses a free online DnB sample pack.

NI Massive- Ahh, how I made my famous oriental lead synth in 'Flying Through the Eclipse' and 'The Battle of the Great Hall'. It's one of my favorite bass and lead synth vst! It is also used in the background of other songs, such as the famous Saw Lead you hear in the background of 'FTTE'. The same Saw Lead is also used in 'BOTGH' and 'Seventh Stone' as the ultra lead synth. It is also heard in 'Cosmic Mirrors'.

Rob Papen's Predator- Oh my God, what would I do without this one.. Nearly all of the synths heard in 'Cosmic Mirrors' uses this synth.

TAL BassLine- The bassline heard in 'CM' uses the entire thing. Just add two of 'em, one with a really wet reverb and the other as its normal self.

V-Station- This one is having some problems with saving, and all I really use it for is the Lead in 'Take Him Down' and as the BG synth.

SH-1130- It's a couple of mastering tools I use occasionally. It comes with a good EQ for the Master track.

X-cita- This tiny freeware makes a huge difference in sound than it does in looks. You better have a limiter and a compressor ready!

Stringer- Also freeware, I used this in a cover of 'Voodoo People' by The Prodigy.

Ableton Suite 8.5- My base program, easy to use, sample, cut, paste, and master tracks instantly! I use this program for ALL of my songs.

Ok, so right now I'm hoping to get the huge vst, Omnisphere, to add to my collection! And I'm also messin around with Sylenth1 too.

Hopefully this helps some people in their choices of making music. Thanks for read'n, comment and leave questions!
